Policies and Procedures

We accept up to three articles of clothing per visit: 3 women's and 3 children's (0 - 6X).
Each article of clothing will be examined by staff for sale suitability.

Clothing must be:

√ CLEANED PRESSED AND ON HANGERS

√ IN SEASON

√ IN FASHION

√ IN NEARLY NEW CONDITION

Your clothing will be approved to ensure it meets all our sales standards. Spots, stains, soil, wrinkles, or signs of excessive wear are not acceptable.

We will give you a customer number to identify your items which have been accepted.
Items are held for 6 weeks in your name until Pick-up date (PUD).

On the"PUD" date your unsold items become the property of the May Court Shop. If you do not wish to donate your unsold items, they must be picked up before NOON on the pick-up date.

When each of your items sells, your account will be credited with 40% of the agreed-upon selling price. May Court’s share goes to charitable work in the Kitchener-Waterloo community. This change in consignor/shop split is effective July 1, 2010.

Monies owing to you will be held for one year and may be collected at the store within the year.
Large pay-outs are generally credited to your Debit card.

The shop welcomes donations of clothing, accessories and small household items. The same standards for consigned clothing apply, however there is no limit to the number of items being donated.
